Project 01: Oyster aquaculture
Role: UF IFAS Intern
In my freshman year of undergrad eager to gain laboratory experience I started to volunteer at the UF IFAS Molluscan Shellfish Aquaculture and Restoration Lab. Due to my dedication and hard-work, I was awarded the UF IFAS lab internship. During, which I learned extensive lab skills and aquaculture techniques.
Project 02: Galapagos FIsh Ecology
Role: Research Scholar
(University Scholar Program recipient)
I began volunteering with Dr. Lamb in December 2023, and later received the University Scholar Program award, which provided a paid internship to conduct my own research project. Dr. Lamb has conducted extensive marine research in the Galapagos, and I had the incredible opportunity to accompany him on a research trip in the summer of 2024.
