About Me
Discover my work and expertise
I am a PhD student at the University of Florida studying Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences. I earned my B.S. in Marine Science with a minor in Statistics from the University of Florida in 2025. Growing up in Florida, I developed a deep appreciation for the ocean, which naturally led me to pursue marine science.
My research focuses on how reef fish communities are changing along a temperature gradient in the Gulf of Mexico, combining field-based scientific diving with statistical modeling. As an undergraduate, I participated in a range of research experiences, including work in oyster aquaculture and Galápagos fish ecology, which helped shape my interest in quantitative approaches to marine science.
I am particularly interested in using data-driven methods to better understand ecological patterns and support conservation and fisheries management.
